What You’ll Need Before You Begin

1. A Fire TV/Firestick, Android TV, or Google TV device.  Please also note, if you have purchased a firestick in 2026 and it has the new Vega OS system, this will not work for you. 

2. A stable internet connection.

3. Your MyStreamVision account login details (provided after subscribing).

4. The Downloader by AFTVnews app installed.

Step 1 — Install Downloader by AFTVnews

On Fire TV / Firestick

1. From the Home Screen, go to Find → Search.

2. Type Downloader.

3. Select Downloader by AFTVnews and install it.

On Android TV / Google TV

1. Open Google Play Store.

2. Search Downloader by AFTVnews and install it.

⚙️ Step 2 — Enable Sideloading (Install from Unknown Sources)

To allow Downloader to install apps that aren’t from the Amazon or Google Play Store:

Fire TV / Firestick

1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV (or Device & Software).

2. Go to Developer Options.
   If you don’t see it, go to About, highlight your Fire TV device name and click it 7 times to unlock it.

3. Turn Install Unknown Apps ON for Downloader.

Android TV / Google TV

1. Go to Settings → Security & Restrictions.

2. Enable Install from Unknown Sources for Downloader.

Step 3 — Open Downloader

1. Launch the Downloader app.

2. Grant any permissions it asks for (e.g., file access).

Step 4 — Install the Apps Using Codes

In Downloader’s Home screen you’ll see a URL/Code entry box. You can install the apps by entering the short codes for the APK downloads.

The codes below come from MyStreamVision’s setup documentation and are shortcuts to the APK installers:

How to Enter a Code

1. In Downloader’s URL box, enter only the number (e.g., 4059427).

2. Press GO / Enter on the remote.

3. Wait while the file downloads automatically.

4. When prompted, select Install.

5. After installation, you can select Done or Open.

Tip: After install, Downloader may ask if you want to delete the APK file — choose Delete to free up space.

Step 5 — Launch & Sign In

Once each app is installed:

MiSoi

• Open the app from your Apps list.

• Sign in with your MyStreamVision credentials.

Buck TV

• Open Buck TV.

• It will ask you to add a playlist — choose Primary List.

• Enter your username and password to load your channels.

MSV Direct

• Open MyStreamVision.

• It will ask you to add a playlist — choose mystreamvision.

• Enter your username and password and select next to load in channels. (loading in the streams can take up to 2 minutes depending on your internet speed)

If you receive and error code or it says username/password invalid.  Please double check your username and password.  They are case sensitive and sometimes the devices are known to change the script after you enter them in the boxes.

After installing each app:

• Go back to Downloader → Files tab.

• Delete unnecessary APK files to save device storage.
